Junior School Learning

Junior School builds on early learning with deeper skill development across all core subjects. Students explore new ideas while developing literacy, numeracy, creativity, and teamwork. The balance of core learning and Free Choice time allows for both structure and flexibility.

Subjects include:

• English – from spelling to full sentences and punctuation

• Mathematics – up to 100, with addition, subtraction, and early multiplication

• Spanish – expanded vocabulary and sentence building

• Art – pattern, design, acting, and creative thinking

• Health & PE – team games and healthy habits

• HASS – history, culture, and the world of Benne

• Cooking – from Year 3, students learn food safety and basic recipes

• THRIVE – friendships, acceptance, healthy relationships, and resilience
